Quest Mechanics

  • Quests are per-player - your progress only
  • Daily reset at midnight server time
  • Must claim rewards before reset or they're lost
  • Quests work across all dungeons
📈 DIFFICULTY

Difficulty Scaling

Dungeons feature three difficulty tiers with dramatic scaling between them. Higher difficulties bring tougher mobs but significantly better rewards!

🌱 EASY

Levels 1-5 • 0.5x Multiplier

Perfect for beginners. Mobs have reduced health and damage. Great for learning dungeon mechanics and earning your first rewards.

⚔️ NORMAL

Levels 10-20 • 1.0x Multiplier

Standard dungeon experience. Mobs spawn at double the level compared to EASY (2x scaling). Recommended for players with basic gear.

💡 NORMAL is 2x harder than EASY in terms of mob levels and base stats

🔥 HARD

Levels 25-40 • 1.5x+ Multiplier

For experienced adventurers. Features elite mob types including Evokers. Significantly higher health, damage, and armor.

Dungeon Mobs by Difficulty

Each difficulty tier spawns different mob types. Higher difficulties introduce more dangerous enemies with special abilities.

🌱 EASY

  • 🧟 Zombie - Basic melee
  • 🏹 Skeleton - Ranged attacks
  • 🕷️ Spider - Fast melee

Lower health & damage

⚔️ NORMAL

  • 🪓 Vindicator - Heavy melee
  • 🏴 Pillager - Crossbow ranged

Higher level (10-20)

🔥 HARD

  • 🪓 Vindicator - Heavy melee
  • 🏴 Pillager - Crossbow
  • 🧙 Evoker - Magic attacks

Elite mobs at high level (25-40)

⚠️ Mob Behavior

  • Dungeon mobs are on a team - they won't attack each other
  • Friendly fire is disabled between dungeon mobs (no accidental damage)
  • Mobs track their spawner and will leash back if pulled too far
  • Elite mobs (Evokers) only appear in HARD difficulty
⚔️ BOSS SYSTEM

4-Phase Boss Fights

Dungeon bosses feature dynamic multi-phase systems with telegraphed abilities, minion spawns, and escalating difficulty. Most bosses have 4 phases, while some easier ones have 3 phases. Learning the patterns is key to victory!

Boss Scale: 2.5x Size

All bosses are visually larger (2.5x normal mob size) making them easier to spot in combat and adding to their intimidating presence!

Phase 1: Calm (100-75% HP)

Normal Behavior

The boss studies its prey. Standard attacks, no special abilities. Use this time to learn positioning and prepare for the fight ahead.

Phase 2: Agitated (75% HP)

+30% Speed

The boss becomes agitated! Movement speed increases. Watch for telegraphed abilities - visual cues appear before attacks land!

Phase 3: Enraged (50% HP)

+20% Damage, +30% Speed

Minions incoming! The boss summons minions to aid it. Gains additional abilities based on boss type.

⚠️ Vex Lord: Summons Vex minions periodically

Phase 4: Desperate (25% HP)

+50% Damage, +50% Speed

The boss fights for its life! Uses all abilities at maximum intensity. This is the most dangerous phase - stay focused!

⚠️ Maximum damage output - use defensive cooldowns!

Boss Ability System

All boss abilities feature a 2.5 second telegraph system - visual and audio warnings before impact. Watch for particle rings and listen for sound cues!

Teleports behind target player and strikes for high damage.

Boss Rewards

  • Higher coin payout than regular mobs
  • Special loot from boss loot table
  • 8% chance to drop a physical dungeon coin
  • Counts toward leaderboard points
  • 1 point toward leaderboard (completions give 2 points)

💡 Beginner Tip: The Stone Guardian is the easiest boss. Practice dodging the telegraphs here before facing harder bosses!

⚔️ NORMAL • Wither Skeleton • 250 HP • 3 Phases
  • Shadow Strike: Teleports behind target and strikes for high damage
  • Flame Nova: Close-range AOE explosion (6-block radius, 20 dmg)
  • Shadow Summon: Calls Wither Skeleton minions for support
  • 3 Phases: Steady (100-60%), Unstable (60-30%), Desperate (30-0%)
  • Equipped with Shadow Blade (Iron Sword) and chain armor

⚠️ Strategy: Keep moving to avoid Shadow Strike. Watch for the flame ring - melee range is dangerous during Flame Nova!

Infernal Tyrant

🔥 HARD • Blaze • 500 HP • 4 Phases
  • Fire Storm: Rains fire in 10-block radius for 5 seconds (area denial)
  • Meteor Strike: Targeted meteor - 40 damage center, 15 edge + launch
  • Infernal Summon: Spawns Blaze minions to aid in combat
  • Flame Shield: 50% damage reduction when active (phase-based)
  • 4 Phases: Inferno (100-75%), Fury (75-50%), Cataclysm (50-25%), Annihilation (25-0%)

⚠️ Strategy: Coordinate team play essential! Split roles: tank draws aggro, DPS focuses fire, support provides healing. Watch for smoke rings (Fire Storm) and red circles (Meteor) - both have 2.5s telegraphs!

Boss Spawn Timer

Bosses respawn on a timer after being defeated. Check the dungeon interface for current status. Multiple players can fight the same boss together!

Dungeon Coins (Physical)

Gold nuggets that drop from mobs:

  • Regular mobs: 2% chance for 1 coin
  • Bosses: 8% chance for 1 coin
  • Physical items - pick them up!
  • Trade with merchants
  • Lifetime stats tracked

Coins are rare and valuable! Don't leave them behind.

Economy Rewards

Base completion reward + difficulty multiplier + modifier bonuses + mastery bonuses + streak bonuses. All deposited via Vault economy. Higher difficulties significantly increase payouts!

Trade your hard-earned Dungeon Coins (✦) for rare, non-renewable items at the Merchant NPC!

All 18 patterns including Ward, Silence, Vex, Snout, Rib, etc.

  • Merchant is buy-only - you cannot sell items for coins
